In 2010, our founder went to Haiti as part of the initial relief response to the massive earthquake that devastated that country. While there, she realized that there were many groups working within their own silos. So, instead of starting a group that would launch yet another project, she founded Impact to come alongside people already working on the ground in other countries and help them however we could, whether that be funds, supplies, or teams of people. Since its founding in 2011, Impact has worked with organizations in Haiti and Honduras to support their medical projects. This support has included conducting more than forty short-term medical service trips to these countries.
